Update to the List of Local Members for ACFE Chapters

Throughout the years, many ACFE chapters have formed relationships with nearby colleges and universities. These relationships have gained new student members, form partnerships with universities, and even form student ACFE chapters. However, for many chapters it has been difficult to locate faculty members or reach out to students directly to begin this process. We are happy to announce that the ACFE has made it easier for you to locate these members.

As a chapter leader, you have access to the Chapter Administration page, and one of the resources available to you is the list of ACFE members in your geographic area. We have recently added a column to this list for Member Category. The vast majority of these members will be listed as General. However, any student or faculty member will be listed as Student or Educator, respectively.

I encourage you to pull the list of local ACFE members to contact student members and invite them to join your chapter as a student member, invite them to a meeting, or even offer mentorship opportunities, career advice and more. You can also contact the educator members and ask if there are any opportunities to present information about the ACFE, your chapter and the anti-fraud profession.

If you haven’t accessed the Chapter Administration page and viewed the available resources, you can do so by:

  • First logging into ACFE.com

  • Then navigating to your chapter details page by clicking the link/tab for Community

  • Clicking the green link for Find a Chapter

  • Clicking the link for your chapter

  • Clicking the green link on the right for Chapter Administration

Hopefully, this will assist with your efforts to reach these members and increase the visibility of your chapter.
