2024 Chapter Foundation Challenge Update
/Each year, the ACFE challenges our chapters to donate to the ACFE Foundation. The mission of the ACFE Foundation is to increase the body of anti-fraud knowledge and support future anti-fraud professionals worldwide through the funding of scholarships, endowments, research and other educational projects.
Scholarships
The ACFE Foundation administers the Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship Program, which has given more than $1 million to deserving students around the world. Scholarships to students range from $1,000 to $10,000 per student, with a total of $85,000 awarded annually.
ACFE Research Institute
In addition to providing scholarships to students, the ACFE Foundation expanded its scope by merging with the ACFE Research Institute (ARI). The ARI works with academics and practitioners to support research studies on the prevention of fraud and corruption. It provides both funding and data to aid research studies that benefit CFEs and the anti-fraud profession.
Donations from ACFE chapters have provided significant support to the Foundation’s mission. Since 2014, ACFE chapters’ donations total more than $700,000! Last year, ACFE chapters raised nearly $140,000 for future anti-fraud professionals, and participating chapters also received some great prizes to share with their members.
